-Would you like to do something infinitely more developmental and meaningful than crawling through rush-hour on Tuesday?
- Do you feel like our education system can use a shot of innovation?
- Do you think we are achieving our human potential? And our innovation potential?
- Do you suspect there is a relationship between innovation and making society work?

The SVII educational community thinks the best way to help the situation is to Increase Innovation Resilience, with the maximum payoff by beginning with kids.

We are launching a program called PhonePhysics intended to provide early innovation experiences combining music and phones to teach kids how to innovate using science and technology.

The concept of PhonePhysics is more about Human Potential than about phones or physics. The general premise; is that reaching one’s innovation potential requires innovation resilience.

This is what we propose to do by using the most technically advanced ubiquitous device we all carry, the cell phone, as a platform. Phones are already computers with sound centric sensors and outputs, augmented by increasingly excellent visual displays, the potential of using music to teach about technology is compelling, especially for children who are much more sound oriented than adults.

A simple potential starting point, seems to be to choose a cross platform development environment (IOS and Android) and explore the possibility of porting Scratch (from MIT). But as the group has pointed out, we first need to define what we are trying to accomplish before either coding or content development can be spec’ed out.

Again, the priority is realizing Human Potential. Because right now humanity may not be doing well enough to be sustainable, there is some urgency about developing an approach to increase our innovation resiliency.

This special event is completely FREE to the generous sponsorship of Serena Software, who is providing both a space to meet and food for participants.
